On Thursday 7 December 2023, the Hellenic Copyright Organization participated online in the 2nd training workshop organized by PEKES Crete for the teachers of the 5th Section Primary Schools of Heraklion, Crete. The workshop with the title "Supporting teachers in the modern primary school" was attended by the teachers of the school units of Analipsis, Gouvon, Gournon, Junior Academy-Herronasios School, Elias, Episkopis, Kokkini Hani, and Hersonissos.
Mrs. Maria G. Sinanidou, HCO lawyer and scientific associate presented the basic principles of copyright, the limitations and exceptions in relation to education, the importance of protecting copyright and avoiding actions that infringe it, with emphasis on the digital environment. In addition, the HCO and the services provided to the public were presented.
The training was attended by 120 teachers.
