On Thursday 30 November 2023, the Hellenic Copyright Organization participated online in the training workshop organized by PEKES Crete for the teachers of the 5th Section Primary Schools of Heraklion, Crete. The workshop with the title "Supporting teachers in the modern primary school" was attended by the teachers of the school units 1st and 2nd Malia, Castelli, Thrapsano, Mochos, 1st and 2nd Port of Hersonissos.
Mrs. Maria G. Sinanidou, HCO lawyer and scientific associate presented the basic principles of copyright, the limitations and exceptions in relation to education, the importance of protecting copyright and avoiding actions that infringe it, with emphasis on the digital environment. In addition, the HCO and the services provided to the public were presented.
The workshop was attended by one hundred teachers.
